I was born and raised in St. Louis. I have been interested in the art of tattooing since the young age of 8. I’ve been tattooing since 2012; I am licensed in Missouri and California. In 2011, I started my apprenticeship and learned the trade from award-winning tattoo artist Shawn Medina. I completed my apprenticeship in June of 2013 and was honored to be offered a spot at Steel and Ink with my mentor who still pushes me and helps me to grow with some healthy constructive criticism. In 2014 I was licensed in California and tattooed at the Body Art Expo with my shop mates. In 2015 I attended the Villain Arts Expo in KC and Ink-N-Iron in Nashville. I feel like I am very versatile in my style of tattooing. I love color realism, black and gray, neotraditional and illustrative styles of tattooing.
I always enjoy tattooing objects with a twist, however black and gray roses and skulls never get old. One of my first influences was Tim Hendricks. He is a versatile artist but keeps traditional tattoo foundations. Dan Malloy and Josh Bowers are also inspiring for the same reasons. I am certified in CPR and First AID and am blood borne pathogen certified.
In my personal life, I’m a father to two beautiful little girls. Inspired by all the people I work alongside, I’m proud to say I’m part of the Steel and Ink tattoo family in St. Louis, MO.
